About Johnny
Johnny’s first introduction to music for film began in 1992 with the feature film ‘Chalk’. Music from his band ‘The Mofessionals’ was used as the back-drop for San Francisco’s Tenderloin Action Group along with the band Primus. Since then, he has scored over 40 film and television projects and participated in over 60 international and domestic film festivals. He has been blessed to work with such musical artists as Joni Mitchel, Gary Shider, Tim Alexander as well as members of No Doubt and recording sessions with Tupac Shakur, Too Short and Digital Underground and Erik Martin utilizing the production skills of legends Roger Nichols, Michael Verdick, Erik Valentine, and Peter Scaturro. His films have featured actors such as Patricia Arquette, Martin Sheen, Peter Coyote and Erik Bauer to name a few. Johnny is a true multi- instrumentalist, a certified Pro Tools operator, sound designer and post sound mix engineer with recording studios in Burbank and Hollywood.
